Graduation Feb 2022
After lots hard work and pressure of exams, it’s great to have something to look forward to. Our graduation from February 2022 was an exciting one as it included students going all the way back to 2019.
For a change of scenery, this graduation ceremony was held in the Elm Park Golf Club. At the end of every cohort of students, we love taking the opportunity to recognise all the hard work that goes on through the duration of every course. We celebrate students from Hairdressing, CIDESCO Beauty Therapy, Beauty Specialist Diploma, Teacher Training, Advanced Skincare and Nail Technicians, as well as many more.
The day always begins with a Prosecco reception and friendly welcome upon arrival and shortly after followed by a three course meal. When everyone is well fed, it’s time for the presentation of Galligan Diplomas and an awards ceremony. There is always opportunity to get a professional photograph taken in cap and gown to really mark the occasion. Our wonderful photographer Babs Daly always catches special moments throughout the day.
Student of the year awards are presented to the students who go above and beyond throughout their course and every student is gifted a rose. The very special Kay Galligan, founder of the Galligan College was eager to provide words of wisdom and encouragement to all the newly graduated attendees.
